Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of natural and social sciences on Energy material for class IV students of MI Hidayatut Tholibin. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the learning outcomes of Social Sciences with Energy material increased through the Card Sort method, this type of research uses Classroom Action Research, with the steps of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, the first was carried out on March 7, 2025 and the second cycle was carried out on March 14, 2025. The research was conducted in Class IV MI. Hidayatut Tholibin, Jakarta with a total of 30 students consisting of 11 males and 19 females. The results of the study showed that the Card Sort method can improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences on Energy material, as known from the results in cycle I and cycle II which showed an increase in the average value and percentage classically. The average value of the Various Energy materials, in the initial condition (pre-cycle) with classical completeness of 46.6% (14 students) out of 30 students who achieved a score of ≥ 75 (KKM score). Cycle I was 70 with classical completeness of 53.3% who achieved a score (16 students) which included a score of ≥ 72 (KKM score). Cycle II was 80 with classical completeness of 80% (24 students) who achieved a score of ≥ 72 (Minimum Completeness Criteria).
